Notes

Originally hired to oversee the development and construction of the Permanent Exhibit on the life of John Paul II we worked closely with the Shrine staff and Gallagher and Associates to facilitate the development and construction of a 16,000 sf exhibit. Among the issues that were addressed was the demolition of existing systems and the design and installation of an infrastructure appropriate for the exhibits artifacts. During the process it became quite clear that systems beyond the exhibit box were failing and needed to be renovated. We provided the leadership to help the Shrine identify additional programmatic needs that had to be addressed if they were to function successfully as a Shrine. Working closely with the Architects, designers and contractors, we were able to establish a design scope, budget and schedule that addressed the needs of the client and fulfilled their goal of providing worship space that is truly inspirational and supportive of the mission of the Shrine.
